Choppy / Buffering / Frozen Playback

Is your video stopping intermittently or pixelated? Do you have a bad-quality video?

We recommend that you have at least a 5Mbps internet connection to stream screeners. You can test your connection speed by going to www.fast.com and running a speed test.

 

If your internet is at 5Mbps or higher and you are having issues, please follow the instructions to adjust the bit rate of your video:

  1. Start or play the screener.
     
  2. Locate and click on Auto at the bottom right of the player, next to the gear symbol.

                                                                       
  3. Click on a lower number or bitrate and see if the video quality is better.

                                                                       
  4.  Keep trying each bitrate until the playback does not have any interruptions.
     
  5. If changing the bitrate does not improve your streaming experience, please contact us at support@visionmedia.com and we will be happy to assist you!
