Roku Channel

System Requirements

If you cannot find the channel, make sure you are in the ROKU Channel Store and NOT the Roku App.

How to Install the Fordela Channel

You may be required to follow these steps when adding a channel.

  1. From the main home page, go to the Roku Channel Store.
  2. Type Fordela in the Search field.
  3. Click on Fordela
  4. Click on Add Channel to install the app.

How to Update the Fordela Channel

Already installed? If the channel is installed and you are experiencing issues, you may have updates to download.

  1. From the Roku home screen locate and highlight the Fordela channel.
  2. Press the star (*) on the Roku remote.
  3. A menu will open. Highlight and select Check for updates.
  4. The channel should start updating (if available). 
  5. Log in and start streaming screeners!

 



 

How to Log in to Fordela

  1. If you have not already completed the  First Time Setup to submit a password, please do so before continuing. Unique code accounts do not need to do a first-time setup.
  2. Launch the Fordela channel.
  3. Select "Sign in".
  4. You will then be asked to go to activate.fordela.com
  5. At activate.fordela.com, enter your email address and password. Click Sign in.

  1. You will then be directed to a screen that says "Activate your device".

 Enter the 6 digit code displayed on the Roku Fordela Channel screen and click continue.

You should see a screen that says "Success! Your device is activated" and the Roku Fordela Channel will be activated.

          


 

How to Play a Screener

  1.  After you select a Screener, you will be directed to the details page where you can read more information about the screener.
  2. Press Play and Accept Terms, when you are ready to stream screeners and enjoy!

            

             


 

How to Turn on Closed Captioning

You can only turn on closed captions during streaming.

  1. Log in to the Fordela channel and start playing the video.
  2. Bring up your options by pressing the asterisk "*", or star button on the remote.
  3. Scroll down and click on Closed captioning.
  4. Click on On always.


 

How to Turn on Audio Descriptions

You can only turn on audio descriptions during streaming.

  1. Log in to the Fordela channel and start playing the video.
  2. Bring up your options by pressing the asterisk "*", or star button on the remote.
  3. Scroll down and click on Accessibility & captions.
  4. Scroll down and click on Audio track.
  5. If there is an audio description available, click on the option that has AD.
