How to Install the Fordela App
- From the home screen, select the Apple App Store.
- In the App Store, search for Fordela TV
- Select Get to start the installation.
- Select Open or select the Fordela icon on the Home screen.
- Proceed to Activate Your Apple TV.
How to Update the Fordela App
Already installed? If the app is installed and you are experiencing issues, you may have updates to download.
- Open the Apple App Store.
- Search for Fordela and select it.
- If an update is available, click on "UPDATE".
How to Activate Your Apple TV
- If you have not already completed the First Time Setup to submit a password, please do so before continuing.
- Launch the Fordela app on your Apple TV.
- Go to https://activate.fordela.com/
- At activate.fordela.com, enter your email address and password. Click Sign in.

- You will then be directed to a screen that says "Activate your device".

- Enter the 6 digit code displayed on the Apple TV Fordela App screen and click continue.
- You should see a screen that says "Success! Your device is activated" and the Roku Fordela Channel will be activated.
- Once you have successfully activated your Apple TV, you can click on any title and press Play to start streaming screeners! You will only need to activate your Apple TV once.
How to Turn on Closed Captioning
Log in to the app and start or play a screener.
With your Apple TV remote, scroll over until the speech bubble is highlighted with a white circle and click on it (first option on the bottom right-hand corner of the player).
A list of languages will appear under Subtitles.
Scroll and click on your preferred language. Once there is a checkmark next to your language of choice, you can click anywhere on the screen to get back to the video.
To turn off the closed captioning, Follow steps 1-3. Scroll down and click "Off".
How to Turn on Audio Descriptions
- Log in to the app and start the screener.
- With your Apple TV remote, scroll over until the bars (next to the speech bubble) is highlighted with a white circle and click on it (second option on the bottom right hand corner of the player).
- A box will appear for Audio Track. Click on your preferred language (If there is no track available it will say so).
- You can click anywhere on the screen to get back to the video. You should start hearing the audio descriptions during streaming!
